Women’s Health Services

Our women’s health services are delivered in a private, supportive setting with sensitivity and respect. We welcome patients of all ages and backgrounds and offer care that’s focused on both prevention and early detection.

We provide cervical screening tests (Pap smears) in accordance with the National Cervical Screening Program. These are recommended every five years from age 25 to 74 and are essential for early detection of changes that may lead to cervical cancer.

Our GPs perform clinical breast checks and can refer you for imaging such as mammograms and breast ultrasounds when needed. We also support you in understanding breast changes and performing self-checks at home.

For patients experiencing menstrual concerns, including painful, heavy, irregular, or absent periods, we offer a thorough assessment and tailored management options. This may include investigation for underlying conditions like PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) or endometriosis, which can affect both reproductive health and daily quality of life.

We offer menopause support to help manage symptoms such as hot flushes, mood changes, and sleep issues. Our care includes lifestyle guidance, hormone therapy options, and long-term health considerations like bone and heart health.

For contraception, we offer personalised advice and access to a wide range of options, including oral contraceptives, Implanon insertion/removal, and IUDs (both hormonal and copper).

Men’s Health Services

We provide prostate health assessments, including prostate exams, PSA blood testing, and monitoring for urinary symptoms. These are important, especially for men over 50 or those with a family history of prostate cancer.

We support men with sexual health concerns, including erectile dysfunction, low libido, or suspected testosterone deficiency. Our GPs offer confidential assessments, hormonal testing, and treatment plans tailored to your needs.

Our mental health support includes help with depression, anxiety, burnout, and stress, particularly for men who may be reluctant to seek help. We provide a safe space to talk, with access to mental health care plans, therapy referrals, or medication if appropriate.

We also offer preventative health screenings, including heart health checks, cholesterol and blood pressure monitoring, diabetes risk assessments, and lifestyle support to reduce long-term risks.

For sexually active men, we provide STI screening and safe sex education in a confidential and inclusive space. This includes rapid HIV testing and testing for other common infections.
