ACE Doctors is a Private Billing Clinic.

This means that all appointments have an out of pocket cost to you after the Medicare rebate, including appointments for review of investigation results.

We ask that accounts are settled on the day of the appointment.

Cancellation Policy

These appointments are important and someone might be able to use the time if you are not able to make it.

If you are unable to attend your appointment or procedure, we’d really appreciate you letting us know so that we can allocate the time to someone in need.

For appointments, please let us know at least 4 hours in advance. For procedures, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Please note that appointments cancelled within 4 hours of your appointment will incur a cancellation fee of $50.

ACE Doctors is a fully private clinic and there will be an out of pocket fee for all of your appointments.

This ensures that we can spend time with you and provide the with the best care we can. 

15 minutes appointment time ensure that you are not rushed in your appointment to make sure you feel heard and your care needs are met.

We see less patients in a day  and all our GPs are experienced and specialist in their interest fields.

Fees must be paid on the day of the appointment. You will not be able to see the doctor or book a further appointment at the clinic until all fees have been paid up to date.

Billing Policy

Medicare Card Policy

We welcome and see ALL patients, regardless of whether you have Medicare or not.

Medicare Card entitles you to be eligible for a rebate for certain types of appointment.

An insurer may also cover some of the costs of the appointment for you and you can check this with your own insurer about this.

Staff and Reception team at ACE Doctors cannot provide information on your insurance cover details.

Home Visit Policy

Home Visit(s) are at your GP's discretion and incur a flat fee of $350 per visit.

Emergency/ Out of Hours Policy

In the event of a medical emergency, please call 000 or present to your nearest Emergency Department.

If you need to see a GP out of hours, please contact the out of hours doctors service Doctor Doctor on 132 660.

Disability Access

Clinic and washroom facilities are wheelchair accessible. 

We understand that disability can take many forms, affecting a person's body, mind, or senses, and it can be a visible or invisible part of their life.

If you would like extra assistance, please let us know during the booking process or when you arrive.

Your thoughts on what we’re doing well — as well as where we can improve — are always welcome.

Waiting times

At times your GP maybe tending to something urgent or a complex medical issue with another patient. This may cause you to experience a waiting time. We earnestly apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
